Senate Continues Effort to Gut ACA

Dear Assembly Colleagues,

Please see below for an important message from AACAP President, Greg Fritz. Please respond to the message below by following the links.
Each communication to our Senators counts in their support for saving essential benefits and patient protections needed for the protection of our children, adolescents and families.
I have already sent letters to my own senators and it took me less than a minute. Please take the time to do this now. Action today is of the essence.
Thank you and enjoy your summer. Looking forward to catching up on our Assembly ADOC calls in August.
Mark Borer, Assembly Chair
The Senate’s devastating effort to gut the Affordable Care Act (ACA) passed a major hurdle yesterday, and today, the Senate continues to vote on amendments to repeal major provisions of the ACA. Please read a statement on recent Senate action from AACAP here.
I’m also asking that we continue to maintain pressure on our Senators to oppose the ongoing effort to repeal the ACA. We can protect mental health care by calling Senator’s Washington, DC office at 202-224-3121, or send an email to your Senator here (a pre-written message is provided for you).
